Faye Blais On Tour at Home Finally!

Chances are if you're a blues/folk music fan from Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, or most of North America, you've heard of Faye Blais. The northern Ontario native has spent the last several years of her music career touring extensively and recording in these locales, but she's back in her homeland for the summer! A driven artist in the touring circuit, Faye hits the road across Canada touring and playing festivals in support of her brand new Live Studio Album/DVD recorded recently in Australia and being released now. She'll be criss-crossing the country through August and September with Melbourne's Jungal, Vancouver's O'mally and Edmonton's Low Flying Planes, showing her diversity and positively kicking butt with acoustic & electric guitar, and a fabulous dynamic voice. Don't miss Faye Blais firing it up this summer and check out both her Live Album/DVD package and 2008's "Two Pieces" on sale at any show.

DOWNLOAD "SOMETHING'S CHANGED" and "CANVAS" by Faye Blaise on ModMayPromotions.com and Contact ModMay for interviews/appearances or more information! Please list dates in your area in local event listings where possible.

Throughout her years overseas, Faye performed over 200 shows, including international folk festivals (Port Fairy Folk Festival, Woodford Folk Festival - AUS, Spring Scream, Peacefest - TW) and received great attention from radio, TV and print media (BLTV, ICRT - TW, Noise TV, ABC, RRR, FasterLouder, MX - AUS, CTV - NZ), in addition to compilation album features and placements in productions by Australian Red Cross and the Oak Tree Foundation (AUS).

Since arriving to Canada in September 2009, Faye was chosen as CBC Radio 3's New Music Canada Track of the Day for "Something's Changed", nominated for 4 Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards 2010, winning "Best Vocal Performance", and has been invited to perform at Eaglewood Folk Festival, Northern Lights Festival Boreal, Robson Valley Music Festival, and Music on the Mountain Folk Festival. With three cross-Canadian Tours over the year, Faye has also been featured on CBC Radio One, Radio-Canada/CBON, Breakfast Television in Calgary, and CTV in Sudbury. She is currently based in Toronto but not for long as she heads back to Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan for more touring in January 2011!
