The Mountain View Music Fest is pleased to announce the line-up for the 2010 fest! This year promises to be the best and most diverse fest yet with such popular acts as Canadian living legend MURRAY MCLAUCHLAN, Country/roots aficionado FRED EAGLESMITH, Break-out country star RIDLEY BENT, and the hit-making rock group THE ODDS, bringing our grass roots festival to new soaring heights! For three days in August, the rural community of Carstairs transforms into a high energy, tune-fueled, family friendly good time, and we want you there. The Mountain View Music Fest appeals to everyone, with a mix of music, dance, craft and visual arts, bringing together of the communities of Mountain View County and beyond. We pride ourselves on being able to offer the best programming right from our own backyards in the local talent we host, up to the hilt of Canadian stardom. Get in the gates by donation (or purchase a limited number VIP Pass), and spend the day with your family listening to a great variety of music, indulging in the tasty delights made available, and browsing the artisan market for some one-of-a-kind works. The MVMF is also pleased to host the 'Giggle Zone' with all sorts of fun to keep the smiles on your little ones faces. 2010 also sees this ever-evolving fest take on a new approach to presenting a wide variety of music for all ages and all ears. The Main Stage and secondary stage will present their music staggered from each other, so there is always something happening. MVMF has also reorganized the layout of the festival so that the stage is visible and audible from both the Big Rock Beer Gardens and artisan market. After hours, those of age can move over to Barley's Pub for some late night entertainment by DUSTIN BENTALL and more.
